Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resources Network

The R3CC is an official Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource (RADAR) Network Specialty Center. The RADAR Network is coordinated by the National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI), a service of the U.S. Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Department of Health and Human Services.

NCADI is the Nation's central clearinghouse for the dissemination of audiovisual and print materials concerning alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention topics.

As a RADAR Network Specialty Center, the Comprehensive Center will assist the broader education community in our region to gain access to a wealth of information resources including:

  • resource lists of the most current research findings
  • popular press and scholarly journal articles
  • videotapes, curricula, print materials
  • prevention program descriptions

These information resources are aimed at developing effective community-based prevention programs, with a particular emphasis on providing and coordinating prevention outreach to undeserved populations and regions.
