Parent and Community Involvement

The R3CC provides technical assistance in the following ways:

  • Training Title 1 School-Community Liaisons
  • Training District Parent Advisory Councils
  • Facilitation for Parent Organizations
  • Providing regional Parent Involvement Special Interest Workshops
  • Facilitating processes for coordinators in looking at parent outcomes in developing a state evaluation tool
  • Presenting roles and responsibilities of parents in Title 1 and parent workshops on promising practices in building parent partnerships
  • Supporting state parent advisory organizations
  • Networking with parent resource centers
  • Supporting Title 1 parent groups
  • Creating a resource bank of parent materials
