The State has a policy regarding the inclusion and/or exemption of LEP students in state mandated assessments.
State policy allows exemptions for LEP students for a specific amount of time.
The longest possible period of exemption is:
Two Years
Three Years
More Than Three Years
State policy allows accommodations in state assessments for LEP students.
State policy prohibits specific accommodations from being offered in state assessments for LEP students.
State policy specifies that when certain accommodations are used, scores are not included in state, district and/or school totals.
State policy allows alternate (alternative) assessments for LEP students for whom the regular assessment, even with accommodations, is not appropriate.
State policy specifies alternate (alternative) assessments.
